Updating boot support partition for the volume as required

The other is a partition used for telling the computer how to boot from the drive. But then it added,"Updating boot support partitions for the volume as required." I've never seen that before. If i just do a Verify Disk, it says the disk appears to be OK but doesn't add the bit about boot support partitions. One is the one where the partition information is stored and how to access the drive (duh).

I’ve been running backups successfully with both TM and Smartware since the beginning of September but today the failure has occurred again.

If I go into TM, I can see all the successful backups to the beginning of September.

Smartware says: ‘No writable WD Smart Ware partition found.
